Following conductor Jakob Lehmann’s recent interview with Planet Hugill, the music blog has now published a glowing review of his recent performance of Rossini's Ermione & Stabat Mater with Orchestra Révolutionnaire et Romantique. “Lehmann's approach to the music brought out the strength of Rossini's musical framework and for all the elaborate vocal detail, there was something neo-Classical, almost sculptural about the music.
