Julian Perkins has shared a new blog post on the Portland Baroque Orchestra website ahead of his upcoming Cupid’s Arrow performance with the orchestra on Friday, October 24th. In the post, titled Finding Balance: Music, Nature, and the Ground Bass , Perkins talks about the benefits of spending more time outdoors, and gives a special mention to the music of Alessandro Scarlatti, one of several composers whose works will be featured in the upcoming performance.
