Julian Perkins’ work conducting John Weldon’s masque The Judgment of Paris was named Record of the Week on BBC Radio 3 this week during their weekly Record Review show hosted by Andrew McGregor. In his review, McGregor talks about the history of the never-before-recorded opera and how he believes Perkins’ new recording with the Cambridge Handel Opera Company “rights something of a historical musical wrong.” Click the link below to listen to the full recording now.
