Conductor Gil Rose has received high praise from The Boston Music Intelligencer for Odyssey Opera’s latest production, with staff writer John Erlich claiming he “felt privileged to be there”, in reference to this new concert of works by Rachmaninoff. In reference to the performance at Jordan Hall, Erlich writes, “There can be no praise high enough for what Gil Rose and his inspired forces attained in this remarkable realization of extraordinary music by a true master virtually unknown for opera”.
