BMOP Announces ‘As Told By: History, Race, and Justice on the Opera Stage’

 
 

Fresh off their win of Gramophone’s Special Achievement Award, Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP) has announced a new opera series called As Told By: History, Race, and Justice on the Opera Stage, featuring five new works by Black composers. The series will begin in June of 2022, starting with ‘Anthony Davis: X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X’, pictured above.
