On Sunday, September 20th, mezzo-soprano Cecilia Duarte will perform with Ars Lyrica Houston in Orígenes: Voice and Percussion Through the Ages, an outreach program which she co-curated with Ars Lyrica executive director Jesús Pacheco. The event will explore “the development of voice and percussion instruments with a focus on Spanish and Latin American cultures in the 15th–17th centuries”, and will also be performed again from October 6th-9th and on November 9th.
