Hadleigh Adams is “Wonderfully Gruff” In New ‘La Belle et La Bête’ Review

A new review from Bay Area outlet Local News Matters praises Opera Paralèlle’s recent production of La Belle et La Bête, an adaptation of Jean Cocteau’s 1946 Beauty and the Beast film featuring music by Phillip Glass. Opera Paralèlle’s production starred baritone Hadleigh Adams in a variety of roles including the titular Beast, and according to reviewer Caroline Crawford, “his baritone took on a wonderfully gruff, textured sound” in the role.
