Patrick Quigley Leads a “Vibrant” Opera Lafayette in New Concert Review

 
 

Conductor Patrick Quigley closed his first season with Opera Lafayette “in style” according to a new review from Charles T. Downey of the Washington Classical Review. Downey called Quigley’s conducting of Haydn’s Symphony No. 63 the “instrumental highlight” of the concert, writing: “Quigley, choosing a lively but not rushed tempo for the first movement, helped the small ensemble make vibrant contrasts between piano and forte dynamics.” Click the link below to read the full review now.
