Tickets Now On Sale For “Creators in Conversation” Featuring Patrick Dupre Quigley

 
 

Opera America recently unveiled the full schedule for their 2024-2025 season, which features a wide variety of musical showcases and speaking events. Among the schedule is ‘Creators in Conversation with OperaCréole & Opera Lafayette’, which will feature multiple performances conducted by Patrick Dupre Quigley, who serves as an artistic director for both organizations that are part of the event. It will focus on the 1887 opera Morgiane, ou Le sultan d’Ispahan by Edmond Dédé’s, which is considered to be the oldest known opera by composed by a Black American.
