Stephen Stubbs to Conduct Yale Voxtet in Scarlatti Anniversary Performances

 
 

On Friday, February 13th and Saturday, February 14th, Stephen Stubbs will conduct the Yale Voxtet and Juliard415 ensembles in a special performance of Alessandro Scarlatti’s oratorio Il martirio di Sant’Orsola. These concerts will serve to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Scarlatti’s death, and the program will also include two short oratorios by Giacomo Carissimi.
