Patrick Quigley and Seraphic Fire Praised In Return to Live Music

The South Florida Classical Review has published a lengthy review of Seraphic Fire’s recent performance, praising the “precision and sterling musicianship” displayed by the ensemble. The performance, conducted by Patrick Quigley, was the first time Seraphic Fire had performed for a live audience in twenty months. Writing about the performance of Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, staff writer Lawrence Budmen wrote: “this is a uniquely moving liturgical score that proved a welcome return for Quigley and his forces”.
