Soprano Sara Couden will play the role of Rita in Detroit Opera’s upcoming run of Poul Ruders’ musical adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s classic scifi novel The Handmaid’s Tale. Performances will take place on three days, in the afternoon on Sunday March 1st, and in the evenings of Thursday March 5th and Saturday March 7th.
