San Francisco Chronicle Reviews Jory Vinikour’s Production of “Messalina”

 
 

Contuctor Jory Vinikour and San Francisco-based opera production company Ars Minerva recently premiered their production of Messalina, a “bawdy romp through ancient Roman history” that has only been performed once since its original premiere. The San Francisco Chronicle’s Joshua Kosman reviewed the premiere of the show, writing “The joys of Saturday’s performance came from the music, suavely led by conductor Jory Vinikour, accompanied by a first-rate instrumental ensemble”.
