Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale Honors Nicholas McGegan as Music Director Emeritus

 
 

In a new press release via their newsletter, the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra & Chorale have announced that conductor Nicholas McGegan has been appointed as Music Director Emeritus, “honoring his extraordinary 35-year tenure and lasting contributions to the organization”. The Philharmonia have also announced that advance tickets are now on sale for two upcoming performances that McGegan will conduct: Baroque Garlands (February 5–8, 2026), and JAM: Jewish Nightlife (January 29, 2026).
