Earlier this week, Patrick Quigley spoke to Miami-based radio station WLRN about his recent decision to depart as the artistic director of Seraphic Fire, the ensemble he founded almost 25 years ago. "I think that there comes a point where a parent begins to look forward to a life as a grandparent," Quigley said of his decision to hand the reins to Seraphic’s longtime associate conductor James K.
