Nola Richardson Praised For Her “Flawless” Voice in New Handel Performance Review
Matthew Travisano from Parterre Box recently wrote a new review of American Bach’s performance of Handel’s Ode for St. Cecilia’s Day, in which he called soloist Nola Richardson “one of the most flawless lyric sopranos I can ever remember hearing in the concert hall.” In his glowing review of the ensemble’s “stirring” adaptation, Travisano praised “her laser beam accuracy and purity of tone. No scooping, no affectation, no fuss. As such, the voice conveys authentic pathos.” Click the link below to read the full review now.
