Conductor Nicholas McGegan received high praise for his work leading a new production of The Marriage of Figaro at the Royal Danish Theater in Copenhagen. Peripeti staff writer and Mozart/Da Ponte expert Magnus Tessing Schneider lauded McGegan’s work, calling him “in the best sense of the word – a classical opera conductor who serves the singers, the orchestra and Mozart without putting himself at the center.” Click the link below to read the full review (in Danish) now.
