Nicholas McGegan Leads Rousing Baroque Concert at Aspen Music Festival

 
 

Conductor Nicholas McGegan led an ensemble playing 14 short pieces of a wide variety of baroque compositions on Thursday, July 14th as part of the Aspen Music Festival. The eclectic program, featuring works by Rameau and Telemann, was largely focused on international influences, incorporating melodies that draw inspiration from Chinese and French cultures, among others.
