Patrick Quigley Announces He is Leaving Seraphic Fire Next Year

After 24 years, Seraphic Fire founder and artistic director Patrick Dupre Quigley will be stepping away from the Florida-based vocal ensemble. In a statement about his departure, Quigley wrote: ”The patience, kindness and care that the artists, board, and staff have shown me over nearly 24 years—especially since this was my first time being an artistic director—is that of a family.” Quigley, who will now focus on his new role as artistic director Washington DC’s Opera Lafayette, will be replaced by Seraphic Fire’s associate conductor James K. Bass. Click the link below to read the full announcement now.
