Soprano Laura Strickling celebrated a milestone earlier this week after her new album 40@40 hit #1 on Billboard’s list of Traditional Classical Albums. Strickling, who recorded the album with pianist Daniel Schlosberg, was recently praised for this new collection of American works, with music publication is Sequenza 21/ calling her “one of the best advocates for art song performing today”. 40@40 is available to stream or purchase now.
