Nicholas Burns Wins 2nd Place In National Capital Opera Competition

Congratulations to countertenor Nicholas Burns, who has won 2nd place in this year’s National Capital Opera Competition! The competition took place on October 18th at the Rideau Park United Church in Ottawa, and the 2nd place prize also came with a $5000 reward. The other winners were soprano Karoline Podolak (1st place) and Jamal Al Titi (3rd place), both of whom can be seen in the above photo standing with Burns.
