New Review Praises Nola Richardson’s “Heavenly” Performance in ‘Hildegard’

In a new review for BroadwayWorld, critic Richard Sasanow praised soprano Nola Richardson’s “remarkable” performance and “glorious” singing in the title role of Sarah Kirkland Snider’s debut opera Hildegard, which recently made its NYC premiere. According to the review, “To call Richardson’s singing “heavenly” would not be overstating her contribution” in this work of historical fiction about the 12th century German polymath Hildegard Von Bingen which was part of the recent PROTOTYPE Festival in New York.
