Hadleigh Adams Featured in New “Graphic Novel Opera” About Mount Everest

Opera Parellèle has announced the latest iteration of the acclaimed opera “Everest”, this time, presented as a virtual graphic novel, using animation to create motion effects over hand drawn comic panels. Featured amongst the cast is Schwalbe baritone Hadleigh Adams. In an interview with San Francisco Classical Voice, conductor Nicole Paiement said “Rather than focusing on what we couldn’t do because of the pandemic, we imagined what we could do.” “Everest” is expected to premiere some time over the summer.
