Onyx Classics have just released the Dallas Bach Society's recording of Bach's St. John Passion, featuring tenor Thomas Cooley in the role of the Evangelist as well as performing the arias under the direction of James Richman. Bach’s St Johannes Passion is the earliest surviving Passion, or Oratorio by J.S Bach and was first performed in 1724. The album is now available on all major streaming platforms.
