The GRAMMY-winning Boston Early Music Festival ensemble have released some new behind-the-scenes footage of rehearsals for their upcoming production of the opera Octavia by German composer Reinhard Keiser. In the clip, you can see conductor and instrumentalist Stephen Stubbs discussing Keiser’s career, including his inspiration on and eventual rivalry with George Frideric Handel.
