Butterfield sings Britten, Bach, and Brett Dean at Yellow Barn

On Wednesday July 31, tenor Benjamin Butterfield brings to life Benjamin Britten’s Winter Words, a setting of eight poems by Thomas Hardy; J.S. Bach’s “Sei getreu” from Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen, BWV 12 on Thursday August 1 and Mark Applebaum’s Control Freak on August 2. On Saturday August 3, Butterfield sings Winter Songs by Brett Dean, whom he has been working with directly.
