Boston Modern Orchestra Project Spotlighted in New York Times Article

 
 

A new article in the New York Times entitled “When Boston Ruled the Music World” puts the spotlight on Boston’s thriving modernist music scene in the 1970s. Anthony Tommasini, the senior music critic for the times details his experiences moving to Boston in the 1970s and how although the modernist opera scene has faded, a few key organizations in the city are helping bring it back. Chief amongst the groups mentioned is the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, led by Schwalbe and Partners’ own Gil Rose (pictured above). Click the link below to read the full article.
