BMOP’s Return to the Stage Celebrated by New York Times

 
 

Boston Modern Orchestra Project (BMOP) celebrated their 25th anniversary last year, but as The New York Times points out, the “scrappy and invaluable” ensemble only truly got around to celebrating in February 2022 with their return to the stage. A special spotlight from the NYT Critic’s Notebook, mentions the “endearingly eccentric if thoughtful” program from the free concert that was conducted by BMOP founder Gil Rose.
