Boston Globe Celebrates BMOP’s 25th Birthday Party

 
 

Boston Modern Orchestra Project held a belated birthday party of sorts when they performed at Symphony Hall in Boston last week, their first performance as an ensemble since the pandemic began. In what the Boston Globe refers to as a “decadent” celebration, a free concert made use of an exciting program, as well as a dusting off of the “often seen but rarely heard 1950 Aeolian-Skinner organ”.
