Beginning on the afternoon of Sunday, August 2nd, contralto Sara Couden will perform the role of Goffredo in West Edge Opera’s production of Handel’s comedic opera Rinaldo. This wild new update of Handel’s 1711 classic features elements of science fiction and superhero films, and will run for three weekends with one performance a weekend at the Scottish Rite Center in Oakland, California.
