Sherezade Panthaki Praised for Her “Bright, Flexible Voice” In New ‘Messiah’ Review

 
 

Soprano Sherezade Panthaki’s voice was “was brimming with simple sincerity” during her recent performance of Handel’s Messiah, according to a new review from the Substack publication St. Louis Arts Scene. Writer Chuck Lavazzi was particularly impressed with Panthaki’s singing during the aria “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion”, which was “a showpiece for a soprano with coloratura skills like Panthaki’s”.
