OperaWire Praises “Engaging” Performance of ‘Morgiane’ Conducted by Patrick Quigley

Patrick Quigley’s work conducting Edmond Dédé’s Morgiane has received another glowing review, this time from Operawire. Writer Alexandra Svokos provided a thorough and thoughtful breakdown of all aspects of the show including commentary on each of the main performers and even the costumes on display. According to Svokos, Dédé has been “avenged with this restoration”, with Quigley doing the important work of shining a light on this long-forgotten Black composer and his historically significant work.
