Computing Venus Starring Marc Molomot Available To Stream Online Now

The award-winning opera by Timothy C. Takach was performed at Vassar College in January 2026.

Vassar College recently uploaded a full video recording of their production of Computing Venus, which features tenor Marc Molomot amongst the cast. The opera, which was filmed in January at Vassar’s Martel Theater, features Molomot in the villainous role of physician Edward H. Clarke, a skeptic and detractor of Maria Mitchell, one of the first female astronomers to work for the U.S. federal government. Click the link below to watch the full opera on YouTube now.
